The Steelers are heading to Minnesota to kick week 14 of the NFL season off against the Vikings as 3 point underdogs. Single game DFS contests can be tricky so if you’re stuck, let us help you set your lineup. Check out who we have our eye on tonight…
Justin Jefferson – Jefferson is our top target of the night as he’s included in 90% of our lineups on both platforms. Contrary to popular belief, the Steelers lack on the defensive side of the ball and tonight with injuries to their starting unit, Minnesota’s top receiving target should eat. Adam Thailand doesn’t look to be returning anytime soon which of course brings extra opportunity Jefferson’s way to throw on top of his the already tremendous upside he brings week in and week out. Tonight he’s one of your most expensive options which is no surprise but the return you can expect should make him well worth his price. We recommend Jefferson for just about every lineup and contest you play tonight.
Dalvin Cook – Cook should finally be back tonight although this status is murky. If he is to see the field it will be at the perfect time. As I mentioned previously, the Steelers defense is banged up so it’s possible that if you see one of them on the field, he’s not 100%. This lines up perfectly for cook who is arguably the most versatile offensive weapon in the league. The Steelers allow just over 130yds per game to apposing running back and with Cook being held out as long as he has, expect to see some fireworks from him tonight. Depending on how Cousins plays, this could easily be a 2 score game for Cook so if he’s included in your lineup it could be well worth it. On FD he’s been included in north of 60% of our lineups but again that doesn’t mean he’s a green light just yet. If for some reason he is ruled as a late inactive, look to pivot towards Mattison.
Najee Harris – The Vikings defense is easily exploitable and tonight Najee Harris is in the best position to get the job done. For the DFS angle he’s just as valuable as Jefferson but with 2 of his offensive linemen out, it doesn’t seem as appealing. He’s priced around the same as Jefferson and when looking at the numbers he can be expected to do just as much. The Vikings are bottom 4 in allowing yards to opposing running backs per game and which is favorable for Harris considering he’s the shining light on a lack luster offense. We’ve included him and a high percentage of our lineups tonight which doesnt quite match Jefferson but is still enough to cause heavy consideration for your lineup.
