Happy Monday everyone and welcome to a four-game slate that seems unappetizing at first but is really not so bad once further analyzed. There are plenty of potential advantages on this slate and only a few players will be complete chalk. The hardest question is whether or not to spend up for Russell Westbrook or to top out at one of the more reasonably-priced studs like Damian Lillard. That will be a risk tolerance decision and each fantasy owner will need to make that decision on their own based on which values they feel comfortable with. Without further ado, let’s get to work…

When looking at this slate, C.J. McCollum was probably not the first name who jumped off the page for you, but he connects all the dots on Monday evening. First, he is priced about $1,000 cheaper than he should be, as his price tag has depreciated all the way down to $6,600. Secondly, the Heat have allowed the second most points off screens this season and McCollum leads the team in points per game (PPG) off screens. In fact, Josh Richardson has yielded the second most PPG off screens of any player in the league. McCollum heads into this game having scored at least 22 points (PTS) in three of his last four games and having topped 31 fantasy points in all but one game since the ninth of February. To put it differently, McCollum is the lock of the slate and you are putting yourself at risk of not cashing if you fade him.
