Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to one of the weirdest slates of the year. Most of the best plays of the evening play either power forward (PF) or center and the slate is loaded with superstars. However, there is almost no value, so fitting the superstars is incredibly difficult. That makes roster construction quite difficult as you will have to either take chances or avoid some of the game’s top players in excellent spots. Whew, this one is a doozy. Without further ado, let’s get to work…

Note: this article is typically based on salaries from both DraftKings (DK) and FantasyDraft (FDr)

The no-brainer play tonight is none other than Karl-Anthony Towns versus a Rockets team he has dominated time and time again. Over the course of the last two seasons, Towns has squared off against the Rockets on five separate occasions, and his numbers are ridiculous: 30.2 points per game (PPG), 18.6 rebounds per game (RPG), 3.8 assists per game, 1.0 steals per game (SPG), 2.0 blocks per game (BPG) and 64.2 fantasy points per game (FPPG) in 38.3 minutes per game (MPG). In fact, Towns has not fallen below 59 fantasy points in any of those meetings, and he dropped 62.50 fantasy points on them earlier this season. The Rockets allow opponents in the paint at the third highest frequency and they allow the fourth most field goals per game inside six feet of the basket. Towns ranks top 30 in the NBA in paint touches per game so the correlation is unmistakable. Fire up Towns in all formats and reap the benefits.
