Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to an interesting three-game slate. Injuries are aplenty as multiple teams will be playing without some of their more important pieces. Naturally, this will lead to a plethora of value, and the main question will be whether or not to spend up for LeBron James. This article answers that question, and others, so enjoy! Without further ado, let’s get to work…

Half the Spurs team is out tonight and LaMarcus Aldridge has unsurprisingly thrived without the likes of Kawhi Leonard, Rudy Gay and Tony Parker. In the month of January alone, Aldridge has averaged 49.0 fantasy points per game (FPPG) with Leonard out of the rotation on the heels of 28.3 points per game (PPG), 13.3 rebounds per game (RPG), 1.0 assists per game (APG), 0.7 steals per game (SPG) and 0.7 blocks per game (BPG) in 35.9 minutes per game (MPG). The boards are extremely noteworthy especially because 5.3 of them per game have come on the offensive glass. No team allows more points per possession (PPP) on putbacks than the Lakers and they allow them at a league-average rate (5.1-percent). With guys like Brook Lopez and Kyle Kuzma playing a healthy number of minutes in the frontcourt, it is easy to see why they are often susceptible to dominant offensive rebounders. Look for another big rebounding performance from Aldridge tonight and he is one of the few players on the slate with the ability to top 50 fantasy points.
