Happy Friday everyone! Are you prepared for a monstrous 11-game slate, because if you are not, it is time to get mentally ready. With so many options to choose from, and very little value, roster construction will be key tonight. Fitting the top superstars is both difficult and not ideal unless one of them goes crazy (and James Harden is the only player I have pegged with that sort of ceiling). Consequently, living in the mid-tier may be the way to go, and this article is based on that principle. Without further ado, let’s get to work…

Once again, Karl-Anthony Towns will face off against a Rockets team he has crushed over the course of the past two seasons. Hell, he has faced the Rockets twice this year, and Towns has topped 62 fantasy points in each on the heels of 22-16 and 35-12 double-doubles. In fact, dating back to the beginning of last year, Towns has not failed to reach 59.50 fantasy points in any of his six meetings against this conference rival. Sure, the Rockets have allowed the third most points in the paint this year but they also rank as a 24th percentile defense against spot spot up shooters. Despite his position (center), Towns leads the Timberwolves in three-pointers made per game, so the spot up numbers are extremely relevant. Oh, by the way, this game is being projected to be the highest scoring of the night and Towns has averaged 38 minutes per game (MPG) versus this team over the last six meetings. Just start him and move on because he is about $1,000 too cheap.
