Tonight’s slate is again not exactly loaded with upper-echelon pitching options but the upper mid-tier feels like the sweet spot. Risks will need to be taken at pitcher but rosters should at least include pitchers which fantasy owners feel have a healthy amount of upside. Offenses are aplenty as teams like the Nationals, Cubs and Royals all look primed to explode. Without further ado, let’s get to work…

Note: all mentions of fantasy points are based on the scoring of both DraftKings (DK) and FantasyDraft (FDr) which are virtually identical.

Chris Stratton is toast. In 11.0 career innings against left-handed hitters (LHHs), Stratton has yielded a monstrous .417 wOBA, 17.9-percent BB rate, .333/.464/.500 slash line, 22.5-percent line drive rate and 35.0-percent fly ball. Now, this is obviously a limited sample size, but he posted a 4.46 ERA against lefties specifically in Triple-A earlier this season as well. Basically, it is reasonable to conclude Stratton will struggle against big league lefties and Bryce Harper is no average lefty. In fact, Harper’s .458 wOBA against right-handed pitching (RHP) ranks second in all of baseball (behind only Mike Trout). Additionally, Harper is slashing .335/.447/.687 in the split with a 36.3-percent hard hit rate and 40.3-percent fly ball rate. All signs point to a Harper bomb tonight.

Good luck tonight and feel free to hit me up on Twitter @RSandersDFS with any additional questions/concerns.
