It’s bizarre to see an NFL game be played on a Tuesday to begin with an tonight we have two. In the NFC east we have a divisional matchup between the Football Team and the Eagles and on the other side of the country we have a similar contest in the NFC west. This widens the DFS field slightly and if you’re looking to take down a contest you’re in the right spot. Check out a few guy we recommend taking a look at for your lineups tonight.
Jalen Hurts – There are a few big name quarterbacks ion the board tonight that you can choose from and all will likely pull their fair share of weight but Hurts is our top utilized at this position by a wide margin. On FD he’s made his way into nearly 70% of our lineups however on DK this number drops, yet still remains about 50%. Washington has regressed this season defensively and a large reason for that is because of how they defend the pass. While their defensive front remains one of the top units in the league, their secondary tends to compensate negatively by allowing just about 260yds through the air per game. This should be easily exploitable for Hurts who has proven over the last few weeks have effective he can be when forced to throw. If his top options aren’t there, he’s comfortable on the run and is developing the instincts needed to improvise and make a play. Tonight his listed salary doesn’t exactly reflect his upside making him a solid candidate to be under consideration for a start.
Antonio Gibson – While Gibson has dropped the ball from a fantasy perspective this season, he’s in a great spot to produce tonight. It’s likely that Gibson fills the work horse roll in a big way tonight with the possibility of Taylor Hienicke’s absence looming. His listed salary is fair and tonight his matchup is favorable. While the Eagles tend to hold it down in the secondary, they’re far less effective when stopping the run and with a 3rd string QB likely to take the reps you can expect a boost in Gibson’s carries. Even if Hienicke is a go, it may be more beneficial for the Football Team to build their game plan around Gibson anyway. He’s been included in about half of our lineups on both FD and DK and although he’s not our most utilized start at this position, he’s an intriguing one to take a look at. If started you can expect a return in fantasy production that just about 2x what you invested.
Kendall Blanton – This may be the sneakiest start of the night and your best dart throw for a GPP contest. The Seahawks are one of the worst teams in the league when it comes to defending the pass a with a few key pieces of the Rams receiving core sidelined with Covid, opportunities for Blanton shouldn’t be too far and few between. He’ll be filling the role of Tyler Higbee but is priced in the bottom tier listed salary however comes in with tremendous upside. He’s not likely to be targeted by the majority of the field and it wont take much to generate a return on your investment. We’ve included him in about half of our lineups on both FD nd DK and definitely recommend giving him a look tonight.
