Memphis remains depleted, mainly in their back court, and I don’t have much interest in their bigs despite a friendly matchup against the Bucks. Both Ben McLemore and Dillon Brooks have seen massive bumps in usage over the last week plus, and their minutes are on the trend upwards as well. They are allowing the fifth highest three point percentage over their last 10 games, which sits at 39%, so these two can be sneaky options in a slate that might have them a tad bit ignored given the matchup. McLemore is shooting over 50% in his last four games, and over 45% from three. Giannis might go under 10% owned in a four game slate, which is crazy to even think about. He’s cheap considering the size of the slate, and brings a 70 FP ceiling. Gasol’s rim protection hasn’t been quite as elite this season, and they really don’t have a body to defend him in the post. I love Giannis’ floor tonight and think he’s the top cash option. Jabari is also far too cheap. He remains off the bench and his minutes continue to fluctuate, but the slower pace should suit him well, and the matchup is quite good as well. Remaining under $5K, he needs just 28 FP in 24 minutes for 6x value, which is more than doable given the usage he generates off the bench. He’s an upside play in a short slate.
