Revenge! Blake Griffin in his first four games as a Piston has been Mr Consistency. More importantly, his usage seems unaffected by his new role, as he’s averaging a 30% usage rate in his first four games with Detroit. He’s averaged 43.5 DKPPG in that span as well, so he’s averaging just under 5x at his $9K price tonight. The Clippers have been quite bad in the front court since losing Blake, as they’re a bit undersized with Gallinari at the four. They’ve allowed the fifth most rebounds per game over their last five games, allowing more than the Nets over that span. In his first meeting with his old team, that concluded in a nasty fallout, I’m on the revenge narrative tonight, but the numbers more importantly check out for it to be possible.
